WEBINAR WITH CSR EUROPE: THE CORPORATE SUSTAINABILITY REPORTING DIRECTIVE

2022 November 16th – An open webinar – in partnership with EASP – European Association of Sustainability Practitioners e with the participation of CSR Europe – on the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) is scheduled for 5 December at 11.30 am CET.

The CSRD is a key measure within the EU Sustainable Finance Package adopted in November 10, 2022. The Directive requires small, medium and large companies (about 49.000 in Europe) to report and disclose complete and comparable sustainable information. It extends the scope and requirements of the already existing Non-Financial Reporting Directive (2014/95/EU) to help investors, consumers, policymakers, and other stakeholders in evaluating companies’ sustainable performance.

With the participation of CSR Europe, we will deepen the contents of the directive, with a focus on the EU Sustainable Reporting Standards, and share policy insights (timeline, content, updates). A member of EASP’s Greek partner will focus on double materiality methodology and examples, while Italy will present a case history.
